Re: Short scale Epiphones
As a small handed/short fingered fool, I applaud this. How was the nut and fretboard width? I still regret selling an vintage A-Width mustang neck

for reverb and modulation, an M5 gets me 95% of the way there. I'm not interested in exploring that last 5% as it seems to be the preserve of virgins who have a lot more money than me. Well I am dirt poor so I'll add it to the consideration list! If you recommend it its good enough for me. I'll see...

For the “Heavy Sound it kinda depends on what you’re going for. When I think of that sound I think of a lot of the stoner and doom bands, and I’ve had luck getting a tone like that by stacking distortions (boost into fuzz, etc), but it can be achieved in a lot of differen...

Sounds good! No other modulation options, though? Chorus/flange/phase? Something like an Echo Base or a Memory Man might give you them analogue sounding delay sounds with the options of some phase/chorus etc. Good point, I hadnt even thought that far, and probably will have to add to the build over...

My new pedal set up ... advice? Options?
(Dots let me know if you want this in the Effects and gear subforum :) ) Ideally I want the money from my sales to go to Shortscalers or their businesses. I'd apreciate some advice and feedback on stuff, pretend I'm a noob because I am, I really haven't paid attention to guitar world in years really...

Good work. How are you thinking of finishing it? I've had a tin of Manchester guitar Tech nitro Competition Orange waiting to be used for a decade! so Orange. Does that keep or go off or anything? Faarrk I hadn't even thought about it. I hope not! I don't think he does it anymore. its worrying enou...

Nice. Looking forward to seeing how this one goes. Jagstang neck is still one of my favourites. Fanks Thom! Spent two days contouring and grain filling by hand. http://bestnetworx.com/uploader/files/319/IMG_20201016_135456.jpg http://bestnetworx.com/uploader/files/319/IMG_20201016_135519.jpg http:/...

So after my strat project hit a showstopper I turned to the next nearest done. My fucking loony tunes wiring jag stang. It was stripped nearly a decade ago and then sat in storage. Time to add much needed contours and shed some weight http://bestnetworx.com/uploader/files/319/received_36419524832743...

The only option is to cut away the extra from neck but, leaving a fretboard overhang, but honestly i dont know, it busts it into a whole new realm of fuckery and pain I just dont need right now with work building up. It was supposed to be a fun distraction. Plus I do evemtually want to refret the og...

Quick easy = total ballache shortscale Strat project
All my guitars are unplayable or broken but I got the bug again recently and decided which I could get playable again quickest. I CHOSE WRONG. Decided to fix up my destroyed old jap strat, the photofinish had started coming off 15 years ago so I stripped years ago to reforge it anew,. The real shows...
