*sigh* Stoners. That's not a very constructive response from someone who's one of 'the main people' at this place. In reply to the question, sure why not - all those minor parts make some small difference, and not everyone has the ear to hear the difference. I thought about one day getting around t...

For Indy companies I have to say I admire 4MS -- it's really nerdy stuff and going into the territory of pedals for pedal's sake rahter than as enhancing guitar, but they make some unusual stuff. On their vids, I like how the guy launches with, "This is the _____" and then crazy stuff star...

If Gibson would make guitars shaped like this I could finally begin to pursue my muzik biz dream of
1. finding 4 hefty mongolian men
2. having their heads surgically altered
3. forming and managing the Klingon Beatles

Where was the shop, JJ?

One of those places at Nagwon has a 'Blackie' strat but it's behind glass so you can't touch it.

Yeah I know. It's a minor quibble. It's sounds great, I just spent too much on mine because of shipping.

Sod buyer's guilt, and no gear is too good for any player. I totally agree with that sentiment. Be good to your self. Think about it from the perspective that your playing will get better -- or from another one of - you don't have to judge your playing in relation to other people's. We should have ...

Oh, you can buy all the stuff from the website right there, you just have to go through the list and add each thing to the shopping cart manually -- a bit of a pain -- but for me at least the posatge would be next to nothing, compared to 15pounds to get something from the UK.

I think the way it works is that you're not getting all the bits for that price. You have to pay extra for the enclosure, jacks and a few other things.

Hhaahaha - neat@! There are some good names there - Delay at the night, son of tube, brunch box... Love Bias II -- I think I'll call my band that. Well Ultratwin, this is good news. GenGuitarGadgets will ship here, but with BYOC stuff, the closest real distributor was in the UK. And for me who has b...

St. Jimmy, I have an ADVT50 2X12 and I really like it. Personally I like the clean and vox-style amp models more than the hi-gain/metalish ones. I was just reading on valvetronix.net last night that a lot of people find the bass response a bit lacking but I can't say that I've noticed it, then again...

What about this tenacious D thing -- some kind of band. All that kind of stuff was adding up. Good friends with Dave Grohl. Would make sense that he could afford all that shit or be buddys with high-end shop owners in La. Plus having the dough to set up a play-studio like that -- that might be one o...

Gearmann, dude?

Hi, I'm putting this in the effects n amps section because this guy reviews pedals. http://au.youtube.com/user/gearmanndude Maybe you've seen a couple. There's speculation that gearmanndude is in fact Jack Black as seen in High Fidelity (2000) and School of Rock (2003). I can't put a finger one way ...

Hey I'm curious - when you guys do vids are you using a professional mic set up against the amp, or is it just the mic in the webcam recording all of it. That's an interesting sounding pedal. I've been trying a bunch of fuzzers lately. I was fuzzing out for a bit then turned em off and plugged in a ...

Both of those prices are with no haggling attempted, which is more than doable at that place. Re the Synchromatic, I wouldn't walk out with it unless the guy fixed the wiring or gave a chunky discount. When I saw them at the start of the week I had a little money burning a hole in my pocket but a co...
