Re: HELP COMPUTER: modding a Boss pedal
Feels like it would be easier to stick another circuit and/or foot switch into a muff enclosure than trying to mod a completely different circuit into something it isn't? Plenty of space.

Re: pictures of your guitars here
There were certainly some oddballs. I haven't had the pickguard off in a while, but this is making me want to open it up and fix the dodgy output jack. I recall they looked the same as this? http://www.reddit.com/r/gibson/comments/1bkj1z9/are_these_legit_gibson_dirty_fingers_pickups/ With the weird ...

It was just your standard abr tunematic, with a guard wire, but to metric dimensions.
It's in that gallery of pics if you click through a bit. The new one is a shiny NOS gotoh from either the 80s or 90s.

That cream Gibbo is pure hotness, presume it's one of those 70s called either the Les Paul Motivator or Gnathus. Would love to hear about it! Let me tell you the tale of the Sonex, the cheapest Gibson until recent years. With sales going downhill at the end of the seventies and Gibson falling out o...

Re: pictures of your gear here
I run OCD also as my base tone with the drive below twelve. I swapped the OCD for a Behringer OD300, which is a clone of Boss OS2, for a bit. It's not as "organic" sounding as OCD where you can shape the sound by rolling the volume knob on your guitar, and it sounds much harsher and feels...

Re: pictures of your gear here
Your OCD settings are basically the opposite of mine, as it's my "clean" tone, or something I stack into my distortion or fuzz. The completely indulgent switcher board is coming together. Still figuring out some choices of what works well together, and I'd like to upgrade to a bigger power...

Could sound good blended in parallel to your usual setup for those full range albini-tones.

Yeah, 60 units for their 60th anniversary.
My matamp is done up in green, which Matamp weren’t doing at the time. So I had to get the tolex from Electric, then send it to Huddersfield. Awkward. Haha

Re: Always on pedals, a popular option?
Klons are good for this though. I'm currently assembling a big ass pedalboard with a switcher, more for my own amusement than anything else, so doing less stacking, but on my smaller setup I often used a DRV clone set low with the volume nearly maxed as an " always on" that responded prett...

Looks interesting. I have been going down a bit of a reverb hole lately. Even though I generally hate reverb and love a vicious dry tone.

Re: Incoming NKD x2
Yeah when you are copying the pattern, it's just the sequencer, you also have to copy the track sound info separately. You can also save the sound as a "sound" and recall it on a step by step basis if you like. You generally end up running into issues when you are onto your third pattern a...

Re: That Pedal Show with Mike Vennart, Fredric Effects Green Russian
This was a very dangerous video for me. I also have a GT1, and the dilemma it poses for me (and Mike it seems) is that that it has two modes, the non-master, where you get those fantastic classic Matamp GT120 cleans and you can enjoy all your favourite dirt pedals. Or, you can run it with the master...

the beta's are around the same price as current boutique versions, but with less output:

personally not interested unless they put out a 300 watt Model T that will never leave my house.
