Re: Should I get a '65 Mustang RI?

Any thoughts? I really want to try one out, but I'm in college and there aren't really any guitar shops around. How are they compared to a tele (what I play now)? I've heard they're more mellow than most Fenders, which sounds great to me...I've been having a hard time taming the treble on my tele. ...

It doesn't matter if you don't know exactly what I was talking about. Lining the spring up with that piece of metal completely solved the problem.

GEORGE F, I WILL LOVE YOU FOREVER. THANK YOU!

Boss pedal help

Hey guys, I'm having a problem with a Boss pedal. It's completely new, but the footswitch plate (the piece of metal that your foot actually comes into contact with to press the pedal on) is "loose." It will rock back and forth. So far, the pedal turns on and off fine, but the footswitch pl...

Boss TU-3 LEDs?

Can anyone speak to how good the TU-3 works in a live setting. I'm worried because the LEDs aren't as big as the LEDs on the TU-2, despite the increase accuracy. Does the high brightness mode compensate? Youtube videos can't really show me, because the pedal won't be that close to my eyes when I'm s...

Re: What do you prefer for shoegaze Jag or Jazz?

Once again this has probably been discussed at length but I'm new here and once again if their's a link to a previous thread I'd be super interested in checking it out. Also I know you can us pretty much any guitar for the gaze but I thought I'd key in on these model's as they pretty much go hand in...

I played with this yesterday...The MD-3 makes fun oscillations!...I should try running the MD-3 INTO the TU-3 and watch the LEDs go crazy.

I think the Vibrato sounds nice, but it's a bit pricey...The reverb is also good.

It's Omicron, by the way. No "N" in it.

I just got a Hardwire Reverb after hearing nothing but good things about it....I hated it honestly. The Reverse Reverb novelty wore off quickly and honestly didn't sound that great. Even with all the knobs all the way up, it didn't get very crazy. The RV-5 can be had for $120 new on Amazon. I'd much...

Excellent, cheap tremolo!

Modtone Tremor! http://i41.tinypic.com/143nzwp.jpg I got it for $60 new off Amazon, but it's usually $80 (still a great deal). True bypass, no volume/tone drop, smaller than Boss footprint, and feels solid. If you're looking for a great tremolo but you don't need all the frills of a Diamond or Empre...

http://i40.tinypic.com/10gijjq.jpg how do you like the gfs tuner? noisy? accurate? i want one! The GFS tuner is excellent (but I guess I'm not that picky when it comes to tuners). It's $40 USD, true bypass, pretty sturdy, has a huge, bright screen, and adds no noise. It does get a bit confused on m...

Earthquaker, CMAT Mods, and BMF

I feel like I see a lot of good recommendations for the Hoof fuzz, but what about other Earthquaker Devices effects? I'm really liking the Ghost Echo reverb. Does anyone have any experiences with this and the Pulse Machine? I'm just curious to see how good their other effects are. Also, does anyone ...

I actually ordered the One Spot combo pack a few days ago (so I should have it soon). How exactly does that work...isn't the battery hatch on the bottom of the Muff? Will I just have to let the cable be crushed under the weight of the muff :??

Big Muff Russian?

I was just wondering if you can only power it with batteries...and if so, is it much of a hassle? Thanks.

100% wet reverb?

I'm currently looking for a reverb pedal to satisfy my experimental side. Of course I'd use it just to add some sound to chords and such, but I'd love a reverb to make my sound all reverb and no dry guitar. Is there any pedal that can do this? Thanks!

What do people have against the new memory man?

I was going to pick one up, but I heard that the older ones are better...What are the problems of the new one?
