i always liked that colour on fenders.

i had one with a 22.75" scale but it was way too short for me.

i've had a week of playing them and i'm very impressed. the bass is the better of the two; very high quality, comparible feel-wise to my mexican jazz bass. the duo feels like an affinity (which it is) but is still very playable, the maple board is super-smooth. a little odd to wrap my fingers around...

is that an 8 string bass at the back?

can't see too much detail here but, yeah, alot more beat-up.

thanks and thanks. i'll see what they're like when i get them; the duo might need the pickups, pots and tuners replaced (maybe not though) but i think the bridge should be ok. the MM looks like i could keep it stock. i love matching headstocks, the only thing that would improve it could be a tortois...

i asked a guy to give me a price on a squier duo-sonic and a squier musicmaster bass he had on ebay to end the auction early if i picked both up. he gave me a figure below what i would have paid so i bit his hand off so to speak. just don't want to jinx it as he hasn't taken the auctions off yet :? ...
