Yeah, I decided to get some longer screws and pickup springs and sink them by essentially mounting them the way pickups are mounted (in a fender anyway). The problem is finding screws. I need a 4-40 x 1" and home depot/lowes don't have them with the rounded top. I'll post pics once I get it don...

Yeah, figured as much. I might try to find some longer screws to mount them deeper in the body (barely not flush) and that would probly solve the problem too, and with much less effort. Thanks for the tip. I was thinking the bodies might be like those strat bodies with the massive cavity...

I want to move the switches below the pickups (because I'm constantly hitting them when I play), is there room without routing?
