CIJ Jag HH dragster p/u wiring

I want to put the stock dragster p/u's back in a Jag HH I bought used. The guy that took them out did not lable them. They look identical except one has a black wire and one has a grey wire. Which one is the bridge? Thanks for any help.

The sd antiquity 2's sound really good but pickups are all a matter of taste. I liked them better than stock though.

Well I ended up going with a conversion neck but decided against the warmoth. I read some reviews about quality issues and I was nervous of the compound radius of 10-16. I know you can get a straight cut but the compound sounds good and the few guys I've talked to have liked them. I bought a 24 3/4 ...

Well I swapped the stock bridge for a mustang bridge last night and the problem went away. I'm going to put the stock one back on tonight and mess with the saddles. I put locktight on of few of the saddle height grub screws because they were buzzing when I first got it. I think I'm going to do that ...

You say it's "picking up" the string, but how does that string start ringing in the first place if you're not picking it? That is the 64 dollar question. I've been playing 8 years so I really don't think this is a player issue but maybe I'm wrong. This is a new guitar so not sure what to ...

It's not the player when my other 3 guitars and all the others I've played don't do it.

Seems like it would be a shielding problem but wanted to see what the others thought.

I still need some help with this. Maybe microhonic is not the right description. I removed the claws but have the same issue. The problem is when I strick a string, the open strings beside it are getting picked up and will sustain longer than the string I'm playing. So for example when I play on not...

Thanks. I think I'm going to go with the warmoth conversion neck on a MIM standard body. I am going to replace the pickups and tremelo anyway. How do mosy folks like the compound radius on the warmoth compared to a straight radius?

24 Scale Strat Options

I see some of you have put the conversion neck Jagstang neck on strats. What are other options for a 24" scale strat? I would love to have my 65ri mustang neck on a strat body. Thanks.

Well I took out the pickups last night to remove the claw and couldn't get it off. It appears to be glued to the pickup. Yes I did open the solder connection between the pickup and claw but she won't budge. Any ideas?

Sorry, forgot to answer this. I'm in Roswell. Do any of you guys get together and jam? I'd be in for that.

Thanks for the suggestions. I wondered if the claws could be contributing to this but aren't they supposed to cancel hum? That seems like the easiest thing to try first. They don't do much for me on looks anyway. I guess if that doesn't work, I might go for the waxing. I saw an article on how to do ...

Mine has a long lip, much longer than my mustang. It goes in the trem hole at least 2 or 3 inches and fits fairly tight.

CIJ Pickups

I like the tone of the single coil pickups on my new CIJ Jaguar but I am getting a moderate amount microphonics. I don't get a good drop of of sound between single notes like I would expect. I get a ringing/sustaining as I play, more like a humbucker than single coils. These pickups are pretty hot a...
