iRig runs great on iPad and no noise issues except for simulated amp noise. I was using the full version Amplitube on iPad with iRig. Played well with my pedalboard as well. No experience with Peavey yet. I hope to get an iPad 2 and the Fender Amplitube to test in the near future. Have you download...

I really am happy with my 81 Deluxe Reverb (modded to blackface specs, pull boost pot removed, bright cap on reverb channel removed) BUT it seems kind of wasteful to have 2 channels and only use 1 (the reverb channel) so I think a Tone King Imperial would be ideal...apparently rhythm channel is blac...

I purchased the Fender bundle for my iPhone as an in app purchase last night but have not had too much time with it yet. Initial impressions were good though...quite a variety in sounds with the various amps (the clean on the Twin is amazing) and a few pedals really stood out right away: - Fender Bl...

I have been testing the free version of Amplitude2 on an iPad and I am extremely impressed. I am about to buy the full version and then I saw this. While you could buy this app separately, I am happy that you can buy the Fender amps and effects and just add separately to Amplitude 2. Keeps you from...

anyone got an idea why songs imported from my itunes won't play in the songs section? I can't find any help on the official website I think I read on their facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/ikmultimedia?v=wall) about this issue and saw that there is a new update for the app in iTunes that says...

Nice demo...sounds good. Is it a coincidence you played a Shadowy Men on a Shadowy Planet song? I have seen Brian Connely play a Standel amp with his current bands (Ancient Chinese Secret and Atomic 7)...not sure if it is a reissue or an...

I just tried Amplitube for the first time since the update (guitar, iPhone and iRig haven't all been together in the same place until today since before the update), and I seem to no longer have output. I had tested out Ampkit again, and the feedbacking issue I was having had disappeared, then went...

Yup - when my champ died for a while I used iRig to test the pedals I was making. They sounded great into the Fender Twin amp. Just wondering...is there any risk of damaging anything if the signal output from the effects to the iPhone is too high (I am usually well above the guitar signal level)? I...

mage wrote:^ very nice. how is that hagstrom style trem? does that have adjustable saddles?
No, the saddles are fixed. I don't use the guitar much but the trem seems to put the guitar out of tune pretty easy...but I think that's because of the bridge or cheap tuners...the trem looks cool though!

I've got the Harmony version of that silvertone (H19, with the adjustable pick-ups and Hagstom tremolo)...it's pretty cool, very gritty sounding and the action is amazing since I got a pro setup (picture is not mine, found it on-line but it's identical) : http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3566/35498854...

The J-20 is a much better amp. The J-12 Jet is rather poorly designed and had a pretty regular problem with the filter caps. Mine's fine now, but it took a lot of work to get it there. I'm honestly out of the current tube amp market - I'm more of a SS guy. The ones I've been impressed with have act...

It's a fine amp, but you can do much better for $500. At $250 it was a good deal, but I wouldn't pay much more in any condition. Thanks for the reply...found some more of your postings since about some of the issues you encountered (and I am not at all handly like you appear to be). Are there other...

Half the people say its great build quailty and louder/cleaner than a blues jr and the other hal...

Hope you don't mind me reviving an old thread but I have been searching for all the info I can find on these Ampeg Jet II Reissues and the newwer PTP J-20 amp and this one came up. Has anyone had the chance to compare the Box of Rock with the DLS side by side? I was thinking of getting a Vexter BOR and think the boost would be very handly but the demoes of the DLS sound really good to me. Can anyone describe the differences they have noticed?

Got some help from the BYOC forum on the OD2...there is an internal trim pot labelled "LOUDNESS" which was set too high (well, I guess it depends on what you want). Lowering it reduced the buzz a lot but also the gain, and some of the range on the tone knob...I will have to spend some more...

What kind of amp are you playing these through? I used to have a Boss OD-2 and it sounded like total crap through a solid state but was really nice through a toobz. EDIT: I just read about the Tech 21. Yeah...I thought about that too. I tried them through my Champ 600 (with weber speaker) and 70s S...

Thanks, I'll see what I can do...I could try using my toneport but not sure how well it will work with pedals in front of it.
