The D string on my LP studio has sunk so low that the string is touching the first fret. The nut slot for the string looks a bit more grooved than the rest. Is there a way to remedy this problem or do I need to buy a new nut?

I still want one. 6 years after joining SS.org and I haven't changed my sig.

I used to have a bass super similar to that the one in question. Always thought it was a Teisco.

For what it's worth, other Monoprice stuff that I've tried has all been solid, build wise.

That looks great! I have heard that some of these Kalamazoo guitars are less than well made. Doesn't seem true of this one, but is that the usual case?

I love my Saltbooster (who doesn't?) but recently it has been emitting a very loud squeeling sound when it's plugged in sometimes. When I wiggle the input it goes away for a bit. Any idea what the problem is? The pedal doesn't have to be on for this to happen.

I wish the Fender "offset" or that weird Marauder thing with the triple bucker looked this good. Reminds me a little of the original Schecter banshee.

Pickguard looks weird. Looks like a Rondo or some other knockoff company that *almost* got it right.

I've been keeping an eye on them. Played one a NAMM and seemed to be alright. For the price you can't really lose, assuming you don't get a lemon.
