I have the JM4, which is pretty awesome. Can handle long loops up to something ridiculous like 25 minutes. Can also do stuff like tempo shifting and volume mixing (although maybe you can do that on the DL4 - I have no idea).

In all honesty the 6100 sounds better to me. Obviously it's a matter of taste, but if it were my choice and if money was tight, I'd sell the 800.

Yeah, I can't claim it was a good joke. But the bottom line is that it was deliberate, so basically I win.

I find a few widdles up and down the major scale on a three-notes-per-string basis is good for warming the hands up.

He's proper beligerant, I didn't even reply to his last email. The "ungigged" aspect really pisses me off. To be fair, weren't you especially delighted with the immaculate condition of the amp when you bought it? Perhaps that delight would have been quelled if you'd found it had spent the...

I was with you on the middle pup issue before I actually got the strat (going on the experience of my old squier), but now I seem to be using it loads. Sounds great.

Would be interesting to find out when their prices were at their lowest (in real terms). I remember reading that back in the '50s/'60s a standard strat or tele would be sold at what would be around £2000 in today's money.

I was massively unimpressed when I tried out a MIM standard strat recently. Played and sounded worse than my old Squier imo.

I worked with a guy who now works in Peter Cooks... it may have even been him who sold it to you... guy called Rob ? anyways, the guitar looks very nice. Best colourway for a strat !! O I exchanged a few emails with Rob prior to going there in person. Pretty sure I must have spoken to him, as I was...
