Not new, perhaps, but I see used Lopo Line and Avatar cabs now and again on Ebay.

Re: What capo do you use, if any

hey all, thought i'd ask this question. for years i've been the user of a trusty shubb capo, which has served me well for times when nob-head singer decide to sing the song in the wrong key. recently. i wanted something a little different, mainly one i could clamp on a mike stand or the headstock o...

Dragonfly Music (also sells on Ebay).

The Artec stuff is pretty nice, for the money. I have the Artec Delay and Phase Shifter pedals and like them very much.

Regarding the Classic 30, I think that a tube/speaker change would provide a noticeable improvement in tone. On the other hand, I think that you'd be moving closer to Voxland than Marshallland. You may want to look at the older USA-Made Crate V-Series amps, such as the V3112T or the V1512T. Very swe...

Lopo Line makes nice 1x12 extension cabs for a much more reasonable price. You might also be able to snag a used Avatar or Mojotone Musical cab for less $$$.

Re: Good deal on a pedal board

http://www.rondomusic.com/product1706.html If I wasn't currently building one, I'd go for it. I had two of these for awhile - the small and medium versions. The only thing that I didn't like was that the pedals sit flat on the board - and the lid has that lip all the way around. I sold the Rondo bo...

Re: Just how similar is the Transparent Overdrive to the Tim

Im new here and you guys seem a little more honest and less blinkered by boutique pedals than other forums. I got the Transparent Overdrive and while its pretty close to being a great pedal it just lacks something, maybe a little less of the blanket over the speaker sound (which admittedly is very ...

Vox AC15CC1, Blackheart Handsome Devil or Crate V1512T? Why?

Okay, folks, I think I have my EL84-powered, single channel, 15-watt amp options narrowed down to these three:

Vox AC15CC1
Blackheart Handsome Devil Combo
Crate V1512T (NOS)

Which do you like and why?

Re: Dano drive?

Aw reet chaps, After messing about with my new cool cat tremolo for a couple of days and being seriously impressed. I’m considering buying a cool cat overdrive, so which would you recommend the ‘transparent overdrive’ or the plain old ordinary ‘drive’. I’ve never owned an overdrive as I...

If it's a clone, it will provide insights into how it sounds. Plus, it may become a collector's item and be worth more money someday.

Yes, they ARE good pedals, anyway. I have the Drive, Transparent Overdrive and Fuzz and really like each of them.

Danelectro Cool Cats: Metal, Distortion and Vibe Pedals

Regarding the new Danelectro Cool Cat pedals, we now know the following "alleged" derivative circuitry: Drive (CO-1) > Fulltone OCD Transparent Overdrive (CTO-1) > Paul Cochrane Timmy Fuzz (CF-1) > Frantone Peachfuzz Does anyone care to hazard a guess at whose circuit design was "borr...
