Electro Harmonix Graphic Fuzz

You might remember me posting about my non-functioning graphic fuzz unit a while ago, well today I tried it with a new power supply unit and still no sound when it's engaged. I've looked inside it, there are no glaringly obvious problems but it doesn't look like it would be easy to fix. Does anybody...

Could you possibly be more vague?

It sounds to me like you are defending a pedal with shoddy bypass, like a child trying to defend himself tripping over by going I MEANT TO TO DO THAT.

I would go for Jag HH-baja, you'd pretty have a good few bases covered then in terms of pickups and sounds. I'd definitely sell the PRS if it were mine, I don't have any remorse for selling my first (but cheap) guitar.

If you find a demo of the Jazzmaster or Jaguar rhythm circuit and compare it to the lead circuit you'll hear the difference that is caused by pot values. If you can't hear the difference then you might want to consider getting your hearing checked.

Ugh... swimming pool routes..... I hate them, it's just a tone sucking pit. ??? Some guys swear they can hear the different in a 250K pot vs 500K, poly vs lacquer finish, set neck vs bolt on, brass vs ordinary bridge.... blah blah blah... Well, loose neck pocks and swimming pools are my only 2 pet ...

I wouldn't say so, it was based on something he had invented rather than being a customized instrument just for him. Also, if you believe the man himself (he was known to get various details of the guitars' origins wrong though), they weren't originally going to label it a Gibson, and that's when h...

who the hell buys stuff like this? why would you buy it? Exactly, I don't understand the appeal of signature guitars other then collecting, but even then, that's a lot of money for another piece of a collection. I would never play a signature guitar, I would rather try to get a guitar that I like a...

I'm not sure about that colour, maybe a different pickguard and pup covers would help. It definitely looks unusual.

Very nice, I like the somewhat unpredictable nature of patina. Have you done a lot of work with copper is it a more recent thing?

exactly! why try one for yourself when you can just take somebody's opinion as biblical? compression has its place, even in a live rig. I have watched some demos, it doesn't seem all that useful for me but anything described as squished ass can't be that great... i'm a firm believer in getting out ...

I'm hoping they are here in time for me to hand deliver the UK batch to James at bROEfest.
I barely remember when Xmas is, nevermind bROEfest. I found out today that my birthday is this Sunday, I haven't worked out what I want to do for it yet.
