Cool, thanks. I don't find the tone control too useful so this may be the way to go.

Hey this sounds like a great project. A few questions for Paul: It sounds like you use your existing 3-way? Do you just do all your tone adjustments with the amp or a pedal? I assume this will work for my 97 Jagmaster. I don't plan to change the pickups but the tone control seems pretty useless and ...

Lots of good info, thanks. Is a Ric considered to be a short scale guitar? My target would be any good used 6 string , 330 type Ric. I am not picky about color, except maybe I would avoid natural wood. I found a used black Ric 330 at the Guitar Center next to the office building where I work a few y...

Best way to post photos?
Sorry, I was traveling for a while - now back. I have a couple of photos to post. However, it appears you can't do it direct per the site FAQs... Does the uploader on this site let you set up a separate address on the web to enable linking to photos?
Thanks for any tips!

Cool - I can deal with an Excalibur. Got it for $320 at a second hand instrument store in Maryland about a year ago. I may be a relative beginner, but I know when a guitar feels good in my hands. I bounced around looking at posts on these guitars and it does look like my pick guard is original. Than...

Vista Jagmaster Colors and Pickguards
I have a seafoam green (or possibly called sonic blue) Vista Jagmaster, made in 1997. It has a tortoiseshell guard. Does anyone know if this is the color guard that would have come stock on this guitar? The knobs are white. Also, is there a color guide for Vista Jagmasters posted somewhere? I tried ...
