An Oliver Ackermann signature Jag would be pretty cool. His are both unique and pretty much all he uses(since starting A Place To Bury Strangers at least), but I guess he's not established enough to get a signature model. I don't know, who is still making music, uses mostly a Jaguar, and is as well...

Re: Visual Sound One Spot - Noise Problem
So I use the Visual Sound One Spot to power my pedals. Two of my pedals (EHX Big Muff and EHX Holy Grail Reverb) require me to use Visual Sounds plug adapter add-ons to fit the jacks. However, I seem to be getting a lot of noise this way. Would switching the jacks out of the EHX pedals for barrel-s...

I have never seen or heard of this mustang  also silversun pickups use a jag as a backup. His guitar cut out during panic switch and he had to set the Sheraton aside after ten minutes of trying to fix the wireless. An horse uses mustangs, but they aren't famous either and I don't think silve...

Strange, i seem to remember the mesa boogie manual saying that they chose 6l6's over el34's because of their reliability. Is it possible to put el34s in a twin? I don't think so. Boogie probably meant that when designing the amp, they chose to have 6L6 sockets in the circuit as opposed to EL34s. Be...

I record drums with 2 mics. Its never perfect but i found micing the bass drum is a must everytime. Then use the condenser as an overhead. With my shitty Behringer C3 condenser I have to take a bit of time finding a good spot. If i angle it slightly towards the hi hat they overpower the snare a lot...

Parts aren't all that much cheaper. Cases, 3PDTs, Jacks, DC jacks, and finishing the case are all pretty much fixed expenses regardless of where you live. People also have to pay shipping when they order parts. Parts are only half the story. You are not paying for parts alone, you're paying for his...

Wait, I read the Youtube description. $99.99? Locally he sells them for around $60-70. $99 is an incredible price for a handmade pedal that sounds this good. I find it hard to imagine he isn't making a loss at $60. Incidentally the Marshall 6100 is my main amp, I think it always will be. Exchange r...

do an 1spot I use onespot to, it's cheap and noisy, but i like to play loud or with lots of fuzz. I heard that if you use a boss tu2 on the daisy chain it filters the noise from the onespot, is this true? Never had a problem with mine except with the RE-20. I even powered a pedalboard with a Deluxe...
