I think the JS pickgaurd normally doesn't follow the horn as cleanly as the mustang. Looks good.h8mtv wrote:Yep, it's a '96 Jagstang.

The headstock shape, bridge, tail piece, tuning pegs and colour scheme look almost exactly the same as a super-old Encore I have. So, perhaps an Encore? I can't find any encores with this headstock, but this is clossee.. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-1970s-Teisco-Japan-Made-Encore-JHS-1E-Electric...

Can you identify this shortscale?
My and my friend had purchased this thing for next to nothing a few years back. He slapped some flatwounds on it and it plays great. Plunk city.
I think its a Kay or Harmony or something but I haven't been able to find anything online. Does anybody know?

That Super-Sonic looks intriguing with the Blue Pickguard. Thanks! Yeah I picked it up a couple of months ago when I was visiting Toronto. Got it for CAN$495 from the awesome Capsule Music . It already had the pearloid blue pickguard fitted by the previous owner. I wasn't sure about it at first and...

http://i93.photobucket.com/albums/l45/corm88/DSCN1918.jpg Been hounding after one of these for the reverse reverb function for teh kevin sheeldz, and at $100 CDN the price was right. Considering the SPX's reverb's solid reputation I was somewhat unimpressed with the regular hall/plate/room reverbs....

date this heavily modified melody maker.
Here's something you might like. My friend just traded in his Rickenbacker 360 for this 61-64ish Gibson Melody Maker: http://distillery.s3.amazonaws.com/media/2011/07/10/cec9940827ea4be1970a53085131f0cc_7.jpg As you can see, it has a custom cut pickguard, a 60's gibson p-90 in the neck, and some kin...

Orange Amps - what is missing?
Until my friend brought his Dual Terror + Orange 112 cabinet up to his apartment I had never played an Orange. My amp is a Fender DeVille, and I love the thick clean sound I get from it. My playing is more rhythmic, and I like to play big open chords with some verb. He has a telecaster, and runs it ...
