Sounds loads better. the hoe down applique is fucking awesome. I'm glad your guitar is okay. Nice looki...

There is one screw that goes into the base plate with a spring underneath. If you place a stack of washers/or a large washer made out of wood in between the top plate and the base plate on that screw you'll block it from tilting back. Leave the spring on the bottom and tighten the screw up; that wil...

Well, this is the first time I have had a problem with UPS, but every major carrier likes to leave stuff on my front porch. I'm sorry but a giant package shouldn't just be left on my front porch when I'm not home. I live in a nice neighborhood but lets not test it. I LIEK IT! Thanks. I planned on ma...

How well did UPS ship my Bronco? PIC HEAVY

I recently purchased brambleperro's 70's Bronco and I thought I'd post the pics of how well UPS shipped it. First of all, brambleperro packed it really well. He wrapped the guitar in bubble wrap, and stuffed it with paper to keep it solid in the case. Then he put the case in a box in between packing...

cheers for the review, sounds kinda like what i'm after although i will prolly pursue a cheaper route. I found THIS from fellow B16 Telecaster dude on the TDPRI rather provocative. If the most significant difference between a Dyna Comp and a proper Janglebox BRIGHT position is a single capacitor, I...

Anyone know how the switching works? It looks like 2 5-way switches.

You might try changing out the cap and/or the potentiometers first before you go changing the pickups. That can make a huge difference.

That's awesome. Greco's are pretty awesome. This one is in great condition. I'm betting it goes for way too much money.

I heard that these guitars are great for slide, which usually means that they suck as regular guitars with terrible action but have a great sound otherwise.

My favorite guitar right now is a burgundy mist refinished mustang that I bought from Sven. Burgundy mist counts as pink right?

This is the only pic I have right now...

I might add that if you don't have it shielded then you should consider shielding it. I usually get some elmers spray adhesive; spray the back of some aluminum foil and then line the cavities and the bottom of the pickguard with foil. As long as everything is touching ground, it usually works.

exactly, if you get something other than that then you can get a piece of wire and touch it across the affected area to see if your noise goes away. If you touch the wire across and all volume goes way then you've shorted across something that's not supposed to be shorted across.

you could make a cable to test the ohms of your pickups. just a just a normal guitar cable with one end bare wires would work. hook some test leads with alligator clips to your multimeter and clip the alligator clips to the bare wires on the guitar cable. then you can read the ohms of whatever pick...

No need to apologize. It doesn't need to be plugged in. Just hold one side to the back of a pot and then touch the other side to back of the other pot. Touch the shielding, the bridge or the strings, the outside of the plug, the neg side of the pickups, the back of the switch... If anything reads sk...

Put it on the lowest Ohms setting and pretty much everything that should be grounded check to the back of one of the pots (including the negative side of the pickups). The meter should read 0 through out.
