I got some of those stick on furnature grippers about 1" diameter. I stuck the screw though one sticky side down. I then stuck another gripper to that (sandwich the screw head) so its about as thick as the original foot. Then you can attach velcro to that. Works pretty well.

Have you tried using the VK's dirty channel? That should sound good enough, at least far better than a DS1. There are a few quick tricks with that amp to changes its tone. Check the peavey bar and grille for the info. Hey is the DS2 any louder than the DS1? Is there any tonal difference between them...

I use these on my Jagmaster (24" scale) and I find they increase the tension without being too hard to play. Even if you're a new player, it'll do you good to get used to thick strings and toughen up your fingers a bit. http://usera.imagecave.com/guitarsandgear/ErnieBallSkinnyTopSlinky.jpg Sam...

I used Rustoeum spray paint on a few pedals and they chip pretty easy. Nothing beats powder coating.

Nice, both clips are great, however I prefer the s/c's for some reason. I was looking at the same guitar yest. but didnt plug it in to try it. Looks like a great little axe to mod. Price is a bit on the high side IMO.

I almost got one til I noticed you have to fold the lid under for use. I hear it makes it unstable.

Are you running batteries or a good power supply?

All the non TB EH pedals I have used are noisy in bypass mode. They have been TBing their pedals for quite some time now. Maybe they figured out the noise issue or saw everyone TB their fx.

I say go for the contours. Switching back and fourth between a contour and non contour guitar is night and day. My arm felt such relief with contours.
