Wampler Sovereign Distortion
After owning one for a little over a month and using it in various applications, I feel compelled to share my thoughts and experiences with it. I bought it on a whim after a friend suggested it for a versatile distortion that I could use with lots of different amps and guitars, for very disparate ki...

i may buy an epiphone genesis
from 1979, for a steal. might use it as a means to trade up to something i like better. being realistic, how much is one worth? from what i can gather it's a deluxe model, an has the og hardshell case.

my music sounds similar to tragedy skullfucking sabbath. c sharp is low enough to do that. like you guys said it's more about attitude. i get a semi convincing tone out of my practice amp's dirty channel with the rat. if i crank my bassman, i just get shellac tones(which is fine but not for this ban...

i'd like to know how the quality of the squier tele deluxe with p90s is compared to these because if it's the same or better as the wilshire that'd be the best thing most likely. only thing is as silly as it is people look at that squier logo and will write you off, which is fucking moronic the mini...

yeah i had like an 81 tube screamer, was cool for what it was but i don't think it'd help this tone. it's sounding like i'm going to ditch the rat and go with running a big muff and the dwarfcraft, although that toecutter does sound awesome. i'm just scared of dwarfcraft pedals, like i'm going to ge...

suggestions for doom pedal?
i play a mixture of crust punk and doom. i play through a 62 bassman 100 head, with a turbo rat dist pedal. this alone is not cutting it. i need a dist that is super trashy but has a lot of eq control. also some sort of octave pedal, preferably with octave up and down. i`d prefer to spend less than ...

not trying to be a dick in the butt or anything but i think you guys are blowing this a bit out of proportion. dude wasn`t exactly polite to the almighty jag, but his minus the long scale is similar to something i've wanted to compile. some people like the sound, some the looks or scale and so forth...

Jag-stang with Seymour Duncan invader bridge on Raleigh CL
not my cup of tea but figured maybe a short-scaler would want to scoop up on it.

guy wants 450, comes with the stock pickup, not sure how good a deal that is, but hey, i thought i'd try to be helpful.

i live 5 miles from the VA border in a small town called norlina. probably actually an hour from music stores but still. for some reason i have contempt for PRS even though they are made in my home state. don't like the tone of the looks. hmmmm maybe that ltd pb with the p rails is going to have tp ...

choosing between two epiphones
just got a job so i get to buy some new stuff! i was originally thinking of getting the classic vibe 60's tele but without a pickup change it would not be viable for both styles i play, so i arrive at two epiphones that have caught my eye. however i live 2 hours from a music store and i doubt they w...

nah if anything sexual overtones are appreciated, and with all the screwing and sticking together it's come to be expected. in seriousness though you're saying i can drive a small screw in there with some industrial adhesive? i'm assuming i have to be uber careful as not to puncture the pot itself? ...
