im not sure about the single coil one but on the single humbucker mine was routed for just the humbucker and it stops after that so adding pickups would require extra routing. but the humbucker area is like a kiddy pool if you will so you could put pretty much any pickup there with some slant ill tr...

from the 10 minutes i spent on a 70s mustang at my local GC i would say the width is indeed similar on the sx shortscales

but you have to take that with only 10 minutes of experience so dont go all aggro if im wrong :D

i should have added a few things. the Pbass needs a bit of work. I mean it DOES work but the tone pot needs to be replaced, its disconected eniterly right now (but super easy and i even have the replacement) its a bit dinged up and an affinity series. also the nuts kinda sliding off cause my old bos...

I got to see him with Modest Mouse on their We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank tour. It was a pretty small venue to so that was awesome. From what I remember, it seemed like he played his white jazzmaster exclusively for that show. I can't quiet remember though.

I would say go for it. To me that seems like a great price. The absolute cheapest ive seen used would be 250 in recent days. And I'm not sure where you are but some areas CL's have absolutely ridiculous prices listed. Like mine i would be LUCKY to see one of those listed for 300. People here want $3...

That is some excellent work there! I vote BM for the color. For routing, did you just trace the area and just try to stay in the lines or did you use a template to keep your router where it needed to be?

I'm a fan of drone, and once played for a 1 gig 1 time load blower drone duo on bass. what i found worked best was (it was kind of free form with loose riffs (like a lot of drone)) turn up real loud so you really feel the sound all throughout your body and just kind of using a sloooow rocking back a...

I would highly recommend it! The neck feels really nice to me. The SX orange neck actually looks good in my opinion, but its easy to take off. The biggest issues are the nut and the tuners (but mainly the nut). The tuners are a little iffy when tuning but keep tune pretty decently, but the nut looks...

well the rondo site says 3/4 AND 24" so... yeah im not really sure the difference, but I imagine that they put 3/4 to speak to the body size. i'm not sure if I am going to keep the color (and I bet ill get hammered for this one seeing the pink lust thread) but if i didnt it would be a dark gree...
