I did this a million years ago for AG English in high school:

Pine Cone Haiku

I wiped with pine cones
No toilet paper around
Man, that really hurt

I was actually thinking about just buying an EQ pedal first, but I decided on a new neck pickup instead. I like to minimize what's in the chain. The Muff is my only pedal, but I need to get a reverb, since the bassman doesn't have one built-in. I'm a minimalist.

Strat neck pickup for down-tuned, heavy fuzz

So, I've discovered that the neck position is actually better for drone chording. The stock neck pickup in my MIM strat gets me pretty close to the sound I'm looking for, but there's always room for improvement. I'm shooting for a frequency response similar to what Sunn O))) gets with their P90s in ...

True, and I've seen a lot of them. Most of them are low quality and don't really show what's being done too close up. A lot of them also skip on important steps.

Need detailed soldering and setup lessons

I want to start saving myself some money. I would appreciate video and picture links for the work itself and tips on what kind of tools to buy.

New Amp day!

Fender '59 Reissue Bassman, pre-LTD, with SS rectifier. I prefer the SS ones, because they provide a bit more clean headroom. Rated at 50 watts, but it's probably a bit more than that, like most tube amps. it's loud, clean and bright. I use a Big Muff for grit and darker tone. I'll probably be buyin...

Nice guitars, but exposing them to such extreme temperatures might necessitate having them set up again.

I like the sound of lots of speakers. If I preferred a head amp, I'd just use a couple of full stacks. I like the bassman combos , so I'd need 4 full combo amps. Four amps, even the same models EQed the same way, are going to sound slightly different, anyway. But I'm not really looking for a blend o...

My dream amp rig would be 4 bassmans, 2 on the left, 2 right, set up in stereo.

I could do the intense volume thing to get a rich and complex sound for recording. Another plus is that lots of speakers gives a better sound, even at lower gig volumes.

Bugeras are the XBox 360s of amps. They're fun to play, but they break every 5 minutes.

I prefer the wedge. It's unique!

There's actually a metal-necked Kramer at the shop down the street where I put my Bassman on layaway.
