It's arrived, my Jagmaster ! First observations

Well my Jagmaster has arrived ! ! A quick try after it adjusted to the room temperature and it seems like it may meet my needs but time will tell. It does feel "short", I find my hand wanting to travel further down the neck towards the headstock. Additionally it's going to take some time t...

Note that the bridge is NOT stock ! Someone has buggered that otherwise fantastic specimen of the Lead Series. In fact if you look closely I'm positive the body had been routed to accept the bridge. It's lost all its' "collectibilty" value. To top it all off I just saw a original replaceme...

Wasn't too sure about how this site works, at the Squier '51 site we try and post what's available as they are becoming more popular for those who missed out when they were first released. It helped me break even when selling mine and a fan of the '51 in Sweden got what he wanted as I wasn't relucta...

Try selling overseas if no one here wants it. I've found not every Fender/Squier model is exported and a 22.5" scale MIM Duo Sonic in white that was too small for me to use sold to a professional that tours all of Scandanavia with his band. It's now his sixteenth Fender/Squier. I bought it off ...

The Squier Tele Custom MUST be used with a tube amp, anything less and you're going to find the pups lacking. I've been using a Crate "V" Series 1512 my girlfriend of 23 yrs found at a yard sale. She came home and said "I think I saw an amp" I took the gigbag which had my Tele Cu...

ALL the Danelectro pedals will hold up if NOT abused. There are those that believe that if it's made to be "stepped" on it's OK to "stomp" it ! Well that ain't(sic) the case. Nothing will hold up to repeated stompings. Just take care of your gear and if you bought with your own h...

Love my Crate "V" Series 1512 tube, $40.00 with loose input jack that caused crakle. Found by my chick at a garage/yard sale. Lucky I ran out and bought it. Loud as an MF and superior in tone, even better with external effects.

I have both, the three saddle on my N.Y. Pro Tele and asix saddle on the other Tele. The three are easier to intonate once "compensated saddles" are installed, though some guitars do NOT require that modification.

My Fender Lead III and Lead II. Nothing compares. After that it's the Tele shaped Bullet "1" HSS and 90 Korean-era Squier II Stratocaster HSS. All the aforementioned have unending sustain and superb tone. The last two have the 13 layer "laminated hardwood" bodies that are signifi...

With the Squier Tele Custom and Squier Tele Custom II I've found it's NOT the pickups but the amp. How do I know ? Even after buying a Lead III to replace one I sold stupidly after injuring my left/fretting hand at work I discovered it wasn't what I remembered in humbucker "tone". Once I a...

Go for the Squier Tele Custom, was the first I purchased after returning to playing in Dec of 08 and haven't regretted it yet as it craftsmanship is superb as is its' tone. Too bad I acquired a Fender Lead II to replace my original, now the Tele Custom spends most of the its' life in a hardshell cas...

Since returning to playing just over 13 months ago I've played/tested numerous Fender/Squiers and found one thing, that is that the Indonesian amde are on par with the USA items and far surpass the models made south of the Grand River in mexico. The indonesians have the Mexicans beat by a long shot.
