Shit, that's quite a find. I'd hold on to it for a little while (until the market recovers a little) and sell the hell out of it. Maybe try the Gear Page, those guys always have money to spend.

Well, if I have to choose one of those I guess I would take the TS-808. In reality I would probably take a slightly modded version from one of a million different pedal guys. I think everyone has a Tube Screamer of some kind.

Yeah, it's true, I'm biased against Dimarzios. I obviously haven't played them all, it just seems like that there are so many pickup winders these days that there is someone out there winding something better than a Dimarzio. I guess I'll head out of this thread now.

Man, that was the USPS's doing? They have been my go-to guys lately. They ship quick and cheap, I guess there is no perfect carrier.

Man, that would be a cool body to have though. It seems like a really awesome start to a few projects.

I think he just posted it to get a few offers.

i've had a super distortion and a YJM (which is apparently now called a HS-4). both decent enough although i felt like they were lacking a little bit. What you changed the neck pickup in your Jaguar? :? thinking about it. it lacks bass, which was never much of an issue through the TT. now with the ...

there was a fucking killer interview with Neil's guitar tech in one of the ToneQuest Reports where he talked about how he got his sounds, it was one of the best things i've ever read about guitars/amps. If it's the one that I'm thinking of, he basically says that Neil Young just gets all his differ...

I am very familiar with Buffalo Bros having bought 6 or 7 guitars from them. If they say it is authentic it is. They were great friends with George Fullerton and got most of his collection when he died. THis shop is top notch and has the best trade up policy in the business. Any guitar you buy ther...

Basically, my point is that anything you want out of a Dimarzio I'm sure you can find someone who does it better for (roughly) the same price. I have played some AWFUL Dimarzio pickups. My first guitar ever, a Guild S-60D, had Dimarzio single coils and they were bright, terrible, and shrill. No char...

Just curious, why is it Dimarzio only? well.. i like the design of the pickups, the sound, and all my favorite guitarist uses them.. thats why.. why do you use the things you use? Ok, it sounds a little like you have taken offense to a completely reasonable question. Fair enough. I only asked the q...

Hmm, that's a tough one. In general, the Clapton should be a better guitar than the MIM but I am not a fan of noiseless Strat pickups.

I have found that I always play better on a guitar that is exactly what I wanted. If you get a guitar that you are just settling for you may regret it.

I hear that, if it weren't for effects I would have probably switched to modular synths or sitar or something.
