Fender Stage 160 Amp Help
Seems I am the Fender Amp killer vintage Fender stage 160
It keeps buzzing when I play the top string (tried with different guitars) all the other strings are crystal clear.
No reverb on so defiantly not the reverb.
Everything seems to be connected properly speakers ect.
Thanks
J

Well, that's my knowledge depleted. If you bought it first hand I'd just return it. To be honest it's probably something minor and not a complete write off, and I've heard of no reliability issues with these amps. Give this a read... http://www.geofex.com/ampdbug/ampdebug.htm I bought it first hand...

The tubes in super champs and vibro champs are woefully underbiased as stock. This was done on purpose by Fender to keep them cool, safe and have a longer shelf life. That'll be why they're glowing dim, not really representative of a problem. Did you check your speaker cable? As in where it latches...

make sure the speaker is definitely plugged in. it could still be a tube problem. if it has an FX RETURN, plug someting in there and see if it produces sound. that will help determine if it's a power or pre amp problem. There is only a place for line out and a footswitch tried both nothing at all. ...

Fender Super Champ xD help
It all powers up but there is no sound what so ever and the tubes are lit.
Have I broke the speaker?
Beginner with amps so not a clue what I've done.
Thanks

Hundred bucks for a fab pedal? I don't care if someone's nodded it to be a klon, don't be a fool. Do an echobase or maybe a memory boy: I may get a memory boy I was toying with the idea before this obsession of having a big echo pedal with crazy thing's on it. then get a DELUXE Memory Boy ...
