Sorry guys, I had to work a lot of shifts past week, so it took me some time to take some pictures… http://i.imgur.com/0Fs9B9P.jpg For the rest of the Imgur-album click here: LANK Playing-wise and tone-wise it's a beast. [NGD, incoming] Gibson Les Paul Custom 57, TV Yellow (2004)

Hey guys, I finally got myself to pull the trigger and fulfill my dream about a TV Yellow Les Paul Standard or Custom. When it first came to me that I want a bigger sister to my Les Paul Special in TV Yellow, I searched the net and found this thread: WARNING: Les Paul Forum Now, one year later, one ...

Thanks guys for the responses!

I read a lot in the Gretsch forums and now I'm all insecure about buying a Vintage Gretsch, especially unseen from another country…

Unfortunately vintage Gretsches are quite rare in Austria - I'll definitely will keep on looking :)

Not quite... http://www.carlsguitarcorner.com/links/Resources/collantig3.jpg Thanks for hiding it, too much Antigua in one pic makes me cringe… All black Strats with Maple neck (tinted, not pale) and 70s headstock is the best way to go. Aaaaaand white-Strats with Maple neck and 70s headstock are ...

Gretsch Country Gentleman 1970

Been looking for a vintage Gretsch for ages, found a nice Gentleman on the 'Italian craigslist' mercatinomusicale. http://img.mercatinomusicale.com/p_z/06/56/3255606_1383734523.jpg Gretsch Country Gentleman Would maybe need to sell my acoustic to have enough cash for it, but I'm playing acoustic gui...

Lovely JM, Thomas!

I love stripped JMs with black guard, looks like it has a nice grain - do you have more pictures of it?
Don't tell me you're planning on refinishing it ;)

ah man, that looks brilliant! what do you think of the diamond? It is brilliant indeed, I'm already addicted to the 'Vox chime' - the JMI is far far better than the (non-handwired) Vox AC4 I used before as bedroom/recording-amp. I just sold my band rig, it was a Orange AD30TC + Orange 212 cab - don...

Long time no post (lazy AF), but made a picture of my current rig as I wanted to share my happiness, especially with the JM4 i picked up last Sunday. Already switched the Greenback out for a Blue Bulldog (got it for cheap). http://i.imgur.com/Hufggf7.jpg Signal chain: Tuner > Diamond Compressor > 19...

4 string, all the way. I don't like the feeling of five-string-bassnecks.
A friend of mine learned on a five string and switched to a four string bass later on. He really does not miss the fifth string.
AT ALL. :)

You can never compare the prices from Europe to US ;) The next time I go shopping I'm gonna get me some Ernie Ball Classic Pure Nickel ( Ernie Bal...

I use Thomastik-Infeld Vienna Strings, the Power Brights .010 - .045.
These strings sound fantastic and are made in Austria.
Bit pricey (10€) but totally worth it!

I use the Harley Benton Power Plant.
For 39€, it's a steal imo. Never had a problem with it.
