It came with a case but I need something I can lug around an airport with my other baggage. I won't be checking it so a really padded gig bag with backpack style straps should do the trick.

I bought one on ebay yesterday for $ 100 plus $ 15 for shipping. I'm thinking it will be great for kicking around and leaving in the car without worrying about it. I really like the Taylor GS mini but the Applause cost $ 400 less.

Has anyone played this short scale acoustic? How does it sound and play. I'm thinking it might be good for leaving in the car, camping, kicking around with no worry. They are $ 149 with free shipping on Amazon.

The magnets are on the sides. The top plate completes the magnetic field. These pickups came on the Supro Ozark guitar. Ry Cooder saw a guy in Mississippi playing one and put one on his Strat. It adds a lot of sustain and is high output. Great for slide.

Cur, I like your headstock way better than the one I got. I'm taking it in to get set up next week. I'll play it for awhile before I decide what mods to make. I was thinking that some lipstick tube pick-ups would look bitchin' on that guitar. Just wish I could get a tortise pick guard.

Okay, I just got my 3/4 rondo strat today. I love how it looks and feels but it won't stay in tune. Also, the pick-ups are just okay. I was wondering if you guys could share your mods. Should I just replace all of the metal hardware, pick-ups, and what about the pots and electronics? I wish I could ...

What are robroes?

It's a 23" scale. I like it better than the short duo sonic. It's actually closer to the Gibson ES-125 3/4 that doesn't have a cutaway. Roy Rogers the blues/slide player uses one.

Thanks everyone! It plays really effortlessly. I really like the larger gibson frets and small neck. They go for between $ 1,200 and $ 1,500 which is cheaper than the Gibson ES-140 but still reasonable compared to full size vintage guitars.

You are right Keith takes the 6th string or bottom D off of the normal DGDGBD tuning that the blues player used.

Also, I forgot! Dobro "G" tuning that the bluegrass dobro players use is "GBDGBD".
