I've just order a Korg Exp-2 as it seems to be the recommended model.

So based on the Xmas gifts thread, seems like both brandonwinmill and myself are in the market for expression pedals to go with our Christmas pedals; EHX Ravish Sitar in his case; Vox Delaylab in mine. So basically the question is what the is story with these things? I've never even had a wah before...

I'm also in the market for a volume/expression pedal.. I probably am too for the above mentioned delaylab, what is the story on these things, are expression pedals pretty much compatible with everything thing or do you have to have the 'right' one? Vox Delaylab for me, from my brothers and mum. I can't really work it yet but I've found a couple of setting where I can make my one guitar sound huge, which is pretty good as a two piece is all I can really muster these days.

There are a lot of factors that play into this that the type of wood can make a difference, but that's assuming that all other bits are equal.
