These are made in Australia, I don't think Maton have done any offshore production.

Their acoustics are really popular over here. At any size gig, if you see someone with an acoustic there's a good chance it'll be a Maton.

Re: NGD: Maton MS503 Classic

Did not know this - do tell? I'm unsure of the exact reason, but apparently they were having trouble meeting demand for acoustics, so they may have moved the builders to acoustic production. On their website the only info is: PLEASE NOTE: The Josh Homme signature model (BB1200JH) is the only Maton ...

NGD: Maton MS503 Classic

Picked up this today. Maton have pretty much stopped production of electrics so I figured I'd grab one while I still could.

New Pedal & Switcher

Image

The plan is to use the midi features in the ES-8 to control the Mobius, DD500 and switching for the JVM410H. I'll be spending most of the weekend making new patch cables and trying to make it all work together.

The body is routed for a full size humbucker in the neck, so it was an easy replacement.

Accidental NGD... http://psykotech.com/misc/guitars/lp60s.jpg Was browsing one of the local shops, not even looking for a new guitar, but they offered me this for a really good price, so I kind of had to buy it. It's supposed to have gold top hat knobs, not amber speed knobs. Apparently a customer w...

I find it really sad that a Chinese knock off is now a more authentic reproduction than Gibson's own guitars.

Sounds like the switch is damaged.

I have a flashback X4, ditto, spark and polytune 2. The switches all feel much the same, nice and smooth, enagement point is about half way through the travel.

I remember seeing that guitar on Gumtree a while ago (I live in Geelong) and was tempted to buy it just for the neck.

Glad to see it went to a good home :)

Those G&L pickups are great, they almost sound like P90's.

I have a set in an ASAT classic custom.

The Hardwire modulation/delay pedals are awesome.

I've currently got a HT-2 tuner, an RV-7 reverb, CR-7 chorus and the TR-7 trem/rotary. They're some of the best sounding (except the tuner of course), most versatile pedals I've tried.

NGD: 2012 American Stanard Strat

I sold my last strat a couple of years ago, but for the past few months I've been wanting to get another one. Recently, I bought a second hand '84 MIJ 72 reissue, but returned it as it had a few issues and picked up a new G&L ASAT classic custom thinking it might fill the gap. I still wanted a s...

I'm probably going to replace it with a TC Flashback X4 soon (just waiting to have a play with one).

Not that I don't like the DD20, it does what it does quite well, but it can't function as a looper and delay at the same time.
