If you do find someone to make the custom plates, , let us know. Found a guy on OSG forum that makes them, goes by the name of ha-milton. Waiting for his reply with the cost for a couple plates. Also I scored a GFS roller TOM free from a guy I work with and it solved all my problems. The trem feel ...

I know, for some reason it seems so cool to me... I'm a sucker for beat up parts guitars.

I've got an old MIK Epiphone LP special DC with two P90's and the toggle switch on the upper bout like a SC les paul. Haven't played many P90 epi's recently that felt as solid or sounded as nice...albeit I switched out the pots and caps and have set it up nicely. The chinese ones don't seem to have ...

When I wanna play doom kinda stuff I really like the fuzz setting on my EH Holy stain. Set it up really warm on the pedal and combine it with a bit of natural tube drive and it sounds great for stoner rock/doom kinda stuff like Sleep. Sometimes I also mix in a bit of my russian EH big muff pi.

If you want something different, GFS makes strat-sized Lipstick pickups. Put those in the neck and middle with a Dream 90 or Dream 180 in the bridge. ((thumup)

I vote Bassman. I picked up a '67 blackface with a garnett 2x15 for $550 canadian. I've had it for a few years now and it's always been awesome, clean or dirty. I'm getting it re-tubed and re-capped right now and I'm stoked to hear it again. It's been my favourite amp since I got it. Amazing deep ba...

For sure.

I was thinking of making a plate out of plastic for the time being, I have a black strat backplate that'll make good fodder for that.

Anyone here done this sort of thing?

Welcome to Shortscale. Did you get the White or Sunburst CP Jaq HH? I had my heart set on a white one but I ended up finding a deal on a AVRI Jag instead We need to try to stock pile a few of those if we can find a supplier. Kinda like we did with the Bronco knobs. I went for the Olympic White...I'...

Bridge buzz with a TOM? That's pretty odd. Have you done a good setup job on the bridge? Only reason I can see for a buzz is something being loose. The CP series was kinda designed with the idea of curing these sorts of problems. As for bridges that won't buzz with a Jag trem... well, there's the c...

New to the forum! Couple of Jaguar Questions

Hey guys new to the forum and thanks to my new MIM Classic Player Jag HH I'm also new to the wonderful world of shortscale guitars. I love the jaguar, all of the in-between coil tapped sounds and the feel of the neck and trem are godly. My one complaint is the switching, i find making quick changes ...
