I saw somewhere online a guy put a pearl laminate onto squier jazzmaster guard and didnt want the rythm section so he just didnt cut it out after he put it on it looked pretty decent and i pretty much just want a black guard. So if i just put a thin laminate onto my guard and don't cut out the toggl...

Ill have to get some better router bits. the only problem is ive only got a big hand held router and no room to route, i dont even have a work bench or anything. I like the idea of having the router come up from the bottom. im not sure how im going to route it properly without a bench,i literally ha...

supersonic pickguard?

Hello all, i just bought back my supersonic which has been modified for a middle pickup. I would like to get a new guard for it,im thinking either a single/humbucker or SSH. I had a look on ebay etc... but can't really find anyone that could make one. Does anyone know a place that could make one? i ...

I have a micro terror and i think its great, i changed out the 12ax7 tube in it for an old radiotron from an old stereo as i found the jj that came with it to be a bit muddy for my liking(still sounded great though) also tried a Sovtek but didn't like it. The output is also 4 ohm minimum so you can ...

Ok cool i might give it a go using the old one as a template, i like where you moved the pickup selector on the last picture as its out of the way. the 5 way that's in there actually doesn't really get in the way but only having 2 humbuckers i dont really need it. Im definelty going to go with the s...

I wouldnt really use the middle pickup, although the one that was in there sounded pretty nice Im not sure what to do as i generally like single coils in neck position but if i put humbucker in there i can use the holes already in the control plate to split the neck humbucker. What i might go with is...

Cheers, cost me around $400AUD not a super cheap price as its had some mods but i dont think its too bad. Also i haven't seen many in Australia especially in black. It is very similar quality wise to my jagstangs ones a 97 the other a 96' but im guessing thats because their made around the same time...

it sounds pretty good, less bassy than my other fairly new 12 string acoustic.

i love playing it, im probly gonna take out the pickup thats in the sound hole, maybe that will open up the sound a bit.
it works but doesnt have enough volume, probly needs a preamp

i had one and sold it a while ago, i actually got another one i bought in the post today for cheap aswell.

i really like them, with the gain all the way up it compresses a bit but its not full on and with the gain all the way down and the volume up its a great boost.

looks nice, but is the neck a mustang neck?

it looks like it could be a jagmaster neck maybe with a stang decal as it looks to have the black truss rod plug, cant really read the headstock though.

although for 300 bucks its still a cool looking guitar

Yeh i think the one on the left is a vintage shenandoh, and the right is a reissue villager.

the shenandoah has 21 frets and normal end on it so im guessing they were using the XII necks for these and the villager but with villager they were getting rid of one fret and making the end concave.

its a fender villager, when i had the neck off i noticed that there were some plugged holes that looked professoinal and under the clear coat? these necks weren't just leftover electric XII necks were they? mine has 20 frets? i doubt they were but maybe they just cut one fret off and curvd the end? Y...
