I don't think he offered a good rebuttal against mtotallywired's criticisms at all, and doesn't address any of the issues. He doesn't say anything about "not being able to do them justice"; his approach is "these guitars are shit, no one can do them justice so they discredit us"...

I would be interested to know if the owner of this guitar is the original owner. If he's not then it is possible, I suppose that some moron before him replaced the screws with the wrong ones and the foam with crappy foam, opened up the trem and left some screws in it and maybe even did some piss po...

Re: Nash Sux

I saw a recent posting on your site about a Nash Jazzmaster. I feel that the writer was rather over zealous in his desire to slam us. The funny thing is that I totally agree with much of what he says, which is why we discontinued making Jazzmasters and Jaguars in 2006. In fact, I posted this page a...

all in all, it was definitely a shocker. I feel bad now for people who own one. a nash offset at least. or maybe this was a fluke. maybe this is nash on an off day? it's still no excuse. Someone over at offset tried to ask if this could just be a nash neck on some other persons body. I'm going to go...

Nash Jazzmaster Tear-down and WHY NASH guitars SUCK!

http://i56.tinypic.com/2meebkp.jpg I recently revamped this Nash Jazzmaster Replica for a client. It had several outstanding problems, and lack of attention to detail in terms of fit and finish, as well as the components used. Nash Guitars (by Bill Nash) is a notable name within the "relic&quo...

Thanks guys. I'm on the fence. I don't like chunky necks. but then again, would you consider $900 a steal for an all original near mint 73?

73 vs mid to late 60's Mustangs

Just wanted to know the differences. I got a lead on a local 73 in pretty pristine condition. I've owned a 64, played a couple 66s and one from 68, all to my liking but too pricey to be had (i'm in NYC. grrr.) and aside from that just MIJ reissues. Is the neck any chunkier at this point than back th...

Show your Repro JM Celluloid Tort Guards, help me solve a ?

http://i53.tinypic.com/10drw5w.jpg Got this nice tort guard off of ebay recently and to be honest, it's one of the best repro celluloid guards I've seen in a while. I'm a little ocd when it comes to imperfections, so this thing would be perfect had the seller/maker of the guard not haphazardly cut ...

I don't know the cribs music all that well but I did see a couple videos of them online with Johnny Marr, and one of them all together on Letterman, and I was incredibly underwhelmed. Opinions obviously vary...

Bad rap? But it's got a RADIO! I just think he's become somewhat of a resident personality over at OSG, and rightfully so. He shares his ideas on the fly, and it's really fun to see them come to fruition.

Something about Eastwoods just never really sold me. However, a dude bought an amp from me recently and he brought over a Tuxedo, which he told me to play rather than him demo the amp. It was actually pretty nice fwiw...

That and seems like everyone and their uncle decided to strip all the original finishes down to bare wood. WHY?!

He has left The Cribs now. Thank god.
Seriously, HOW did that band ever even manage to reel him in in the first place?

http://i51.tinypic.com/29cph5c.jpg http://powwow.bandcamp.com/ http://myspace.com/powwownyc Figured it's high time I stopped being bashful, and shared my group with all of you. We were very active on the NYC circuit late 2008-and all of 2009. Played over 100 shows in that time. We're currently work...

After selling off my 64 poo brown stang I had the option of picking up a minty vintage white/creamy colored 69 reissue stang for $500 or hold my horses and wait around for a deal on a 65 RI in any color. I'd played examples of both, briefly, and while the 69 was pretty nice, the 65's I'd played were...

I actually am very surprised he's not a member over here too. Andrew's incredibly talented, and yes, a very standup guy. When I joined OSG back in 2009, he was just getting started up. His turnarounds are so quick and his evolution as a builder has been a very entertaining and informative one to wat...
