Damn that sucks. Yeah Ive never heard a sovtek that didnt sound amazing, but they are everywhere over here and now they are getting way more expensive. I bought my mig50 just 2 years ago for 280 dollars US. Now you can only find them for like $600 or more. Im really curious to see how it will handle...

Anybody ever put kt88s in a sovtek mig 50?
What was it like?

I play with a Sovtek Mig 50 turned all the way up (which is already super distorted) and it sounds GREAT with my fuzz factory my russian muff and my rat. But then again it all depends on what your going for.
