I've tinkered with the pickup height a little, and compared it with my friends mahogany LAG with SD SH-1/SH-4 set. The Jag actually had LESS clarity, but I kinda like the smooth high frequencies; the lows are a bit mushy though. So I guess I'm searching for humbuckers with nice lows, no over-the-top...
