Can anyone help identify this guitar?

The guitar in question is used by David Longstreth from Dirty Projectors.
Any help in identifying it would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Agree with the Danelectro comments. They're so clean and jangly that their tone remains even when you try to bury it in a floor full of effects. I think some Les Pauls could definitely work; I played a Les Paul Professional, (the one with all the switches and the low impedance pickups, XLR output, s...

Harmony Catalina Archtop

Just saw one of these on craigslist with an asking price of $200 dollars. It has some sizable wood cracks repaired with an unknown adhesive. It it half natural finish, half painted black. I had never heard of these before so I'm assuming they're relatively rare. Is there anything differentiating the...

I think single coils take distortion/overdrive/fuzz better than humbuckers.
They have more definition and their clear tone still shines through with the dirt added.

Jaguar.
On a separate note about that CL ad for the Jazzmaster;
Do you guys think it's a little strange when people put the buzzstop on the CP Jag/Jazzies?
I live in northern Virginia and offsets never show up on CL. Surely none at a decent price.

My friend's 1957 (ish) Airline acoustic. 26 inch string length, brass frets, faux-flame maple on the sides and the back of the neck. Sounds like the gypsy jazz acoustic guitars of old'n times. Soon it will have a self-wound electric pick-up and a tobacco tortoise floating pickguard. http://i635.phot...

I would have to buy the thimbles, yes.
The Tune-o-matic doesn't have the same sort of post holes so I'd have to make new ones regardless.

Fender Classic Player Jag mod question

So I have a classic player Jaguar It has a Tune-o-matic bridge but I'm planning on restoring it to original (ish) parts. I'm wondering if the Mustang (or Jag / Jazz) bridge will suit the 9.5 inch radius of the classic player neck. I'm also wondering if changing the bridge would negatively effect the...

My friend just bought a 1958 Airline f hole archtop that has brass frets. It's the only time I've seen it in person. I bet those pickups sound great and give the bass a nice dirty sound. I'd definitely play it. I'd recommend flat wound strings though because the brass frets are softer than other met...

Should have used that Brazilian Rosewood to make some magnificent slab-board necks.
PRS are always astronomically priced. Never interested me.
