A big reason that Ricks are in relatively low supply is that they still make them basically the same way that they always have. The rest of the guitar manufacturers have adopted modern factory techniques and Rickenbacker has had more or less the exact same setup since the 50's. I've got a 325v64 on...

Those bridges kind of suck. They were paired with a standard archtop bridge, which most people just slid forward over the tuning fork hole, after they threw their tuning fork bridges out. You don't need one for your guitar....a standard gretsch bridge will work.

jazzmaster styled jaguar.

Basically, I'm interested in piecing together a jaguar with jazzmaster electronics, pickguard etc. Anyone do this before? (searching jazzmaster/jaguar on here doesn't really help me).

Exudes classiness. The pickguard and knobs, the bigsby and pickups. Awesome. Does that second headstock get in the way of playing the guitar half? I haven't drilled for tuners or cut the nuts yet, so I don't really know, but this guy doesn't seem to have much trouble: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v...

Doubleneck

I should probably put this in the projects forum, but I don't feel writing a lengthy step by step thing right now. I'm not done yet, but its taking shape. Getting my Grady Martin on.
