to be honest i dont think i ever used the wah setting on mine

I bought a sheet from guitar fetish and cut it myself. it came out ok. theres a slight gap on the neck pickup where i was rushing and over cut. and a chip on the upper horn where my router took a chunk out. but it was a good learning experience

i had a couple strats with seymour duncan jb jr's in em back in the day. they sounded really good. very humbuckerish

some of my guitars have really mismatched pickups, becuase i like the two distinct sounds. what i do is set my amps solo featureto volume for the low out put and just kick it on and off when i need. you could also have two settings on your amp and just change the volume between songs.

i bought a guitar from best buy once. if you go into your local store and have them search the computer for which store has one in stock you can pay for it there and they will usually transfer to your store for free. ymmv and not sure if canada will do it cross border

are the pickups standard strat style or something a little different under the hood?

I tend to only bring my guitars in for "pro setups" if theres work to be done with the neck. i'll do my own truss rod adjustments, but i stop there. I will say nothing feels so nice as after a good fret polish
