The collectible argument is a joke. That is a bizarre cut and I can't think of any reason to make it. I don't buy the buyers input jack theory. It's doesn't seem to sever any purpose. I am not making an acquisition, be He could have done that with a dremel tool, though it is so clean it almost look...

Well the guy sent me a picture of the control area. I see what he's talking about but I honestly don't remember that. I'm not saying it wasn't there, but looking at the picture I wouldn't have even thought twice if I did see it. That would be such a small issue that it wouldn't even have been an iss...

Have a picture of a Super Sonic control plate area? UPDATE
So I sold my silver Super Sonic recently on ebay. Here is the original listing http://www.ebay.com/itm/Squier-Super-Sonic-/321010115792?pt=Guitar&hash=item4abdb1a4d0 Anyways, everything went well until I got this email from the buyer this morning. "You failed to mention that there was a rou...

Thanks for your help Wadeaminute. I actually sold my SS. Before I packed it up I looked all over for the bar and couldn't find it. The bar I had for my Cyclone was too big. I went to the local music store today and bought a new bar. It's an AllParts brand bar part number BP 2321-010 Tremelo arm for ...

It occurs to me that I have five Super-Sonics and only one arm. Weird. How do I measure it for you? I think I might have found out. I'm seeing that they make a 5mm x .8 thread, 6mm and 10-32. I read that all made/crafted in Japan used the 5mm x .8. The bar for my Squier Cyclone is too big, so I gue...

Super Sonic tremolo arm size
I can't find the tremolo are to my Squier Super Sonic. I have a tremolo arm to my Squier Cyclone(new one) and it doesn't fit. It's too big. Anyone know what size I need for the SS?

Another silver sparkle with buy it now for $600.00: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Squier-Super-Sonic-/320997250124?ssPageName=ADME:B:SS:US:1123 That one is mine. I love the guitar but I need a bass rig and SS is not my main guitar(a Walmart sod First Act is  ). If it were not a short scale, It would...

Gah, I now realise the illogical-ness of my original post. What I mean is I like the sound of the pickups, they just sound a bit cheap and are prone to feedback. I want the same overall sound/feel, just better quality. I still want the Super-Sonic to sound as was intended. I don't know what that me...

Super Sonic size neck
I love the neck on my SS more than any other. Would re-shaping/re-sizing a guitar neck to the same dimensions as the SS neck be possible? Or would having a a luthier build an exact copy be the better way to go? Of course cost would be an issue too. I already have an old Warmoth strat neck that has n...

We're talking about the recent Squier Cyclone and not the Squier Cyclone that came out with the Fender Cyclone right? Well my Fender Cyclone feels like a pair of well broken in jeans. The Fender just feels smoother and worn in a bit. The finish work on the Fender neck was probably better than ...

Got another Squier Cyclone. Made a couple of tweaks
Well I liked the first Squier Cyclone I bought when they recently came out again so I just bought another. There was a little bit of a difference with the second one as far as details go. First off the wiring was wrong. It would make noise even with the volume pot all the way down. Turns out they go...

I have a SD JB(SH4) in the bridge and a SD Jazz in the neck. I actually rewired mine with just a single volume knob. I love the Jazz neck pickup. It's my clean tone. I have a hot rodded Marshall type amp. I can have some serious brutal high gain tones then with a switch to the neck pickup and loweri...

Any idea on what exactly happened here? First transaction was obviously bullshit, but why? I actually sent him an email right after he bought it asking if he did in fact just buy the guitar for $40. He said yes and now that he knows what they go for, he would probably sell it. He asked how I knew, ...
