wow, that's actually the first time I've seen a mustang in this color. Surf green is GOAT fender color.

I love the cij offsets, but they've all had such fucking bad nuts. I've had 3 and all 3 had the high e waaaaaay to close to the edge of the fretboard and it'd fall off. It was like I was playing a rickenbacker.

I agree with this, but only for the neck pickup. The bridge on my CIJ sounded terrible.

I ordered a pre cut one, sanded the bottom a bit and wood glued it to my tele. Works fine for me. If a legitimate guitar tech saw it he would probably tell me I did a horrible job but it works just fine for me.

I'd buy one, if it wasn't string through, or if the string though was like tele style.

To remedy the gaps between saddles problem, I put little bit of blu tack inbetween them. Seems to work out okay for me. Would like to upgrade to a StayTrem bridge at some point down the line though. I had this happen on both my avri's but my cij is fine. I just rolled up some lighter grit sandpaper and twisted it around a bit.

I don't know what to think about ol' phil. I like the enthusiasm bit it's a bit much...

Perfectly set up Jaguar > Perfectly set up mustang

Anything other than "perfect", mustang wins. Jags are so fucking finicky, mustangs are more like a strat or a tele (to a lesser extent) where they just kind of work. Except for the tremolo.

But that's just my opinion.
