Is it a pretty clean overall ? It's in pretty amazing condition for the age. Barely a mark on the body and the neck is like new. With the scratch plate fixed, it would look mint. I think I feel so stupid and slightly guilty for melting the plate on an otherwise timewarp vintage guitar that I feel o...

Cleaning up a vintage mustang s/plate

Just got hold of a very nice sunburst '75 Mustang. I love it! It's had a sticker applied to the scratch plate for some time which has been removed but left a gummy residue. It was just my 2 pence. When I look at that pedal, that's what I see, just not for the reasons that were presumed. I'm all for personal choice though, I don't think less of anyone for liking or buying something that I choose not to, unless it's really bad, like those limited edition Boss Phasers tha...

Yeah, I've thought about that when buying Tim's pedals, but most of the money goes to Tim, so he can run his car and his daughter and make more interesting pedals, which is where I want my money to go. I can't stop neo-liberal globalisation but I can make informed decisions about where I put my mone...

Is nasty Chinese toy thing I don't like. (This is satirical hyperbole intended to send up the author's own uncompromising politics and takes all anti- cheap import arguments as read so as not to condescend the reader).

While I admire Corgan's musical talents, I like it that I have no money and have to search, scrape and get lucky to get hold of anything and make what I can of it - that struggle feels like an intrinsic part of the creative process to me.

That's a lot for a little solid state amp, even if it is super loud. Do you know what's in it that makes it so expensive?
