First time seeing both demos, and I'm seriously impressed. Especially with the mudbucker in the first one.
Has anyone here gotten one of these yet?

Worth noting is that the CAR varies on these. My CAR VMJM and CAR VM Jag are two different colors - the Jazzmaster being an aged CAR with a slightly rust color tint (much like aged CAR looks), and the Jag is more traditional CAR, with just a bit of aged tint. The Olympic white that I've seen has alw...

it says on this giant list on MF that fender isn't part of the red hot american sale. is that list bullshit they have to put up and then do it anyway? Their sales will not apply toward fender gear when ordered online but 75% of the time they will do it if you call in to order ....I have done it on ...

I'd go with the VM Jaguar HH in your position. I've got one in Fiesta Red and it's nice and solid. Good quality, nice playability, all that. The reason I'd choose it over the Duo-Sonic though, is that the humbuckers are easily splittable. You could re-wire it with a master tone and master volume, an...

Spooky indeed to hear about night-and-day QC going on there, Gusman said he was sold the pig when when they shipped one from another store. That's two counts of 'try before you buy' and worth knowing. Reeeally tempted with these now. I've just sold about six guitars so i could justify one i think, ...

gives you a rusty CAR, Interesting description, i thought Stewarts vintage Jag had that appearance, best looking CAR i've seen if i may say so. Yeah - definitely a very vintage looking CAR. Much like a lot of the old CAR Jazzmasters you see. Slightly rusty, but still some deep red tones. I really l...

Tho chime in on this, it seems like Squier is using some tinted poly on these new Vintage Modifieds. It's really apparent on the Candy Apple Red, Sonic Blue, and Olympic White finishes. Some end up tinted more, which gives you a rusty CAR, or a slight green hue to Sonic Blue, or puts the Olympic Whi...

Have to say this colour combination is the only time I've got super excited about a Jazzmaster (apart from the cobain project RIP). Looks superb! I will absolutely steal this idea one day. Go for it! With how cheap you can get a Squier JMJM guard there's no reason to not slap one on a VM Jazzy. I g...
