i would try the saddle....also you should look at your string angles....ive seen some strings that actually contact the tunomatic corner before it goes thru the saddle...ya d string should be tougher to break....

haha mark me as you wish.... im a straight up honest newbie.... i think 50 posts is crazy 10 or 20 is cool.....and i really dont care if i cant look at them now because most people on this site are overseas anyways in which i wont deal.....and maybe some peeps are just too uptight about the lingo on...

oh and i use 10s so i bet its a sharp edge...really check where your strings broke and you will find the problem area....

dude this totally happened on one of my mustangs with a tunomatic at the b string.......my guitar guy took some very fine sand paper and went through the saddle with it.....broke three strings and never another....... i would do the same to any edge that will break the string.......it doesnt hurt an...

im 6 foot 2...i wish the mustang bodies were a little bigger but they are nice and light weight.....the necks are slightly thinner than a jaguar.....but the jaguar is a bit heavier but better balanced in weight in my opinion....i like simplicity so i found a japanese mustang without the gross switch...

yes that is a common upgrade....the jaguar and jazzmaster bridges are...well i dont understand what they were thinking....if you play semi rough rythm the strings will slip around for sure....check out the mastery bridge......but the price yuck!
