I got this Ibanez TS7 overdrive pedal that only works with an ac adapter, but not with a battery. I opened it up and didn't see any damage or loose cables or anything.
I tried multiple batteries just to make sure it wasn't a dead one. Any ideas about what else I could try checking?

Ampeg SVT70T
I completely forgot I have this big old Ampeg SVT70T amp at my folks' house. A friend of mine let me borrow it years ago then forgot about it, then when I talked to him again he said I could have it. Too bad it wasn't a Twin or something. Anyway I don't have a pic of mine but it looks just like this...

Anyone ever heard of a Fender 75 amp?
Been amp shopping, and came across this thing:
Fender 75 tube amp
Anyone know anything about these? Never seen anything like it. Probably not going to buy it, but I'm curious.

I just called my local GC today because I scrounged up enough to buy one, and the guy had genuinely never heard of one existing before. He actually got annoyed with his own system, because he found them all over the web (Amazon, Zzsounds, Sweetwater, eBay, Sam Ash, etc.) but Guitar Center's own comp...

It sucks because he won't bend any of his selling terms, though I thought it was neat that he had all of them. He probably is short-changing himself by not putting the work into selling them individually. I also had no idea there was a sunburst Venus, I don't care for them personally but it's what c...

Set of Squier Vista guitars on Philadelphia CL.
Too bad he won't split the lot, I would make an offer on the Vista Musicmaster:

Best packing material for shipping a heavy tube amp
I've been trying to sell my Vox AC15CC1 for months now, and desperately trying to avoid having to list it on eBay. Nobody's biting locally through CL, so I think I'm going to cave and list it on eBay this week. Can anyone recommend packing material/methods for a 50lb. tube combo amp? I'm a bit nervo...

That Tele looks like an old Gibson Melody Maker that I sold for my brother, that was sanded down to bare wood and never refinished, then coated with about 30 years of cigarette tar and "upgraded" with gaudy gold hardware.ultratwin wrote:probably the ugliest Tele-looking thing I've ever really wanted.

I kind of like the black/black/maple thing. It just screams 70s vintage to me. Maybe I'm biased, I do tend to prefer maple fretboards. I hoping to pick one of these up soon since my old Squier P-bass is on its way out. I wish Squier would make a Mustang guitar like this, I'd snap one up in a second....

Hi. I'm new. Here's my Duo-Sonic
Hi there. So a couple weeks ago I was rummaging through my fileserver looking for old backups of stuff and I came across pics of my old Duo-Sonics. I had both a Squier and a MIM reissue years ago and sold them for some stupid reason. I missed those guitars, and it got me nostalgic. I went on eBay, s...
