Kinda off topic but I put together a Duostang with a vintage Duo bridge awhile back, and that sucker wouldnt be drilled period. I did manage to get the brass telecaster saddles stripped into the bridge somehow though. What do you mean it wouldn't be drilled? What size holes did you drill? I was try...

The fretboard doesnt look like a '64 either, I think the pearl dots started in Jan '65. Can you find out what the neck stamp is? Definately not original, nice looking guitar though.

I have a couple (Oct. '64 and Jan '65) with 24 scale A necks and love them. I put a Aug '65 Musicmaster II neck on my '64 for a bit and its pretty dang sweet too.
