The Musket is real good. Sounds great and has extra controls, so it can sound like a bunch of different style muffs, but i think it's based on a Russian. I have a Musket, a Tone Wicker, a Stomp Under Foot Rams head, and a Black Russian Muff, but i use the Musket. Downsides of the Musket--no battery ...

I like that they demoed an inexpensive pedal too, but I thought that thing sounded like crap. Andy kind of looked like he knew it too--I'm pretty sure he threw up in his mouth at 0:44.

Ended up having cancellers remorse & called these guys back & they restated my order. Very happy I did so. Brand new guitar arrived today, no problems. My apologies to the store for my griping & complaining. It's the best guitar I have ever played. Can't believe I didn't have a Jazzmaste...

A month after ordering I finally had to cancel. They promised me so many times it was a day or two away. Maybe it would have eventually come, but I can say with certainty that what they tell you on the phone means nothing. Did just get a refund though.

I like JCM800s best for lower gain tones, so I tend to prefer the early JCM800s and later JMPs. My favourite tone is a Jaguar through a JCM800 at fairly low gain (Chiemi from Mass of the Fermenting Dregs).
