Does anyone know what the usual MSRP to street price is in Japan? My sister lives in Japan, and I'm tempted to get this or some other Japanese only guitar, but if they sell at full list they aren't that attractive a purchase.

Was this guitar ever for sale on the internet? The story of it being repainted against the owners wishes and a lawsuit sounds like something I've seen/read about before. Including the part about the owner dying and it being sold.

Just when I had finally decided to settle on the AC4TV for my home amp, they actually make one that I like the looks of. I even like the boost. One of these is in my very near future.

I have one of the white Jag HHs, and I really like it. However, since you already have a CP Jag, I'd only advocate this purchase if you want a white jag AND you're looking for a humbucker guitar. The stock pickups are pretty good when run as humbuckers or with a bit of the blend, but are not that sa...

I'm just a little disappointed with the colors. I'm not the biggest fan of candy apple red, and the sunburst examples I've seen haven't really wowed me. It's too bad, because I really like the blacktop HH options of black and silver.

This has an authenticity that you just can't get with "relicing" process. I'm envious. I'd rather have this than any custom shop nonsense.

It's perfect for any player in a jam band. You keep your stash right in the back.

I've had both a new Epiphone LP Standard and a nearly new Gibson Studio LP that I got in a trade. I know it's a small sample, but the finish work on the Epiphone was at least comparable with the Gibson. They did both have some finishing issues with the frets, and I hated that niggles seemed to negat...

I used to have a Squier Tele Custom II, and loved the neck pickup, but I would have liked a hotter pickup in the bridge. This may solve that nicely.

The 3TS on this guitar looks fantastic. As much as I hate sunburst on pretty much every other guitar, on a Jag it looks classic without also looking dated. Nice.

I'm really happy to have found it. I saw it on craigslist and thought it might have been less than nicely handled, but when I got there, the scratches all over the pickguard were due to the fact that they hadn't removed the protective sheet. Apparently the guy bought it, thought he would learn to pl...

I love the bound neck and blocks, but I for me it's still a painted headstock away from being perfect. I need a hybrid of the 50th and the thin skin model:

Actually, I ended up going to short scale route on the advice of my guitar teacher. I injured (of all things) my pinky last year after hitting it on a basketball rim, and it's really limited my range of motion with that finger. The short scale gives me some relief both from the long reaches and from...

I'm really short(scale)

After a period of skulking around on the board and looking for information as I tried to decide which guitar to buy, I ended up going for a CP Jaguar HH. Having only played Telecasters prior to this, the sounds coming from my (admittedly poor) playing on this thing are fairly eye opening. Many thank...
