Dream 90 is 8.2k and the Screamers are like 16.9k so you've got a wide spread between the two. Still... depending on the magnet strength and distance from the strings you might be able to get something going. Best bet is to just try it and see.

Thanks for sharing that link. It's good to see Fender getting the scale shorter or Tele's. Looks like the strats got scaled down as well.

I modded a tele down to 22.75. It still had enough tele twang in there. 24" scale would make a great tele as well. Go for it.
