VK 112 is 50 watts I think. Excellent amp for the price. Built like a brick shiphouse. OK clean. Excellent dirty. Takes pedals very well.

I'm a big fan of Lee Oskar harmonicas. Also like Hohner Golden Melody harps. Remember that blues is played "cross harp". That means that your "C" harmonica will play melodies in the key of C major, but will play blues in the key of G. Since so much guitar blues is played in "...

NGD: Fender Stratocaster Junior

I decided to sell my gorgeous Fender MIM Duo Sonic from the early 90s. But no need to despair. The reason I'm letting the Duo Sonic go is that I just bought something even (IHO) cooler! I bought a Fender Stratocaster Junior, Made in Mexico. For those not familiar with this model, it looks very simil...

Dude got nearly $800 (£511.00 = $776) for it. Beats me why. Looks like a beater, put together from parts. Something you buy for a buck fifty to take to gigs in sketchy bars in the crap part of town.

Nice Duo, but what I really want to ask if I may, How is that PRS ?... been considering one of them !! PRS is awesome. Better now that I swapped out the bridge 'bucker for a P90 (GFS Mean 90) for some single coil crispness. Exceptionally well made import guitars with flawless fit and finish, and re...

I had one in LPB but traded it away. Only guitar I've traded away that I still miss, and which that I still had.

Small, light, and versatile as all hell with all of the coil splitting options

Rejoining the Shortscale Universe

So... The Mustang Special was joined by another cool shortscale, a Fender Strat Junior, made in Mexico. Both of these were sweethearts, but a drop-dead gorgeous American Standard Stratocaster beckoned, and alas, the two shortscales disappeared and were replaced by my lovely naked Strat. The months w...

The uke is from a small American company called Konablaster. They make a soprano and a baritone, which is what I have.

They are sold by Elderly.
