Anybody have a Kalamazoo guitar? Pretty much the company Gibson "left behind" when they moved from Kalamazoo. I see them on ebay, but have never had a chance to play one. Just wondering about their overall construction and playability.

Depends what you mean by clarity. Lacking in highs? If they're 1 meg, then changing to another brand of 1 meg wont do much. I've seen 2 meg pots. You may want to change all the wiring and caps too. That's really weird though. Did you buy the guitar new and under warranty? If it were me I would give the folks at Fender a hard time just for the hell of it.

At least you know if you use an anodized pick guard, it wont matter what color the guitar is.

Are you using the same kind of strings on all your guitars? Stainless steel strings will chew frets up quicker than nickel ones.
