got the bass body in the mail today. the neck was actually really close to fitting... it took just a little tweaking of the side to get it to lay in the pocket. it's about a 29/25 scale, so I'll have to move the bridge 3/4 of an inch. the main problem is the neck pocket on the new body is about 1/10...

the jag has one more fret, but I won't know the differences in the pockets until the body gets here.

The bronco is more or less the same bass as the musicmaster, so It's not a surprise that they are interchangeable

I am hoping I can get the bronco neck to work, and then put my PJ set into the Jag body I'll look at it when it gets here. I guess if it doesn't work I'm not out that muc...

swapping necks

can I use a neck from a bronco bass on a Jag bass? I know the number of frets are different, and I might have to move the bridge, but I'm hoping the pocket is the same

new guy- heavily modded bronco

First post here... Let me introduce myself. My name is Mark (duh) I'm 42 years old, and have played bass for over 22 years. About 10 years ago I bought a bronco for my son, but I wasn't happy with it. didn't like the bridge, didn't like the pup, thought there was a lot I could do to make it better.....
