A fun one that i do is Open D add9 (i THINK). Its basically Drop D, then take the G down a half step to F# and the B down a step to A... So its D-A-D-F#-A-E..... Super fun. You can do a lot of chords and different things while letting the two high strings ring out. I do it on my Duostang with 10-46 ...

We paid a guy to track drums, then I recorded my guitar parts and the bass stuff. Everyone besides me in the band works for the US Government in the shi...

My band finally recorded a proper album

Aren't the new bullet ones 24.75 scale? Don't know if it's been determined they were a conversion neck. I'm guessing the distance to bridge might be based on the 24.75 Cyclone. This is a complete guess of course. That was misinformation when they first got listed online. For whatever reason, all th...

One note on the tailpiece method, be very careful on the angle, if you don't go shallow enough you could drill through the body. Yes. That's why you want a really long bit. At least a foot long, so you can angle the bit shallow. Work nice and slow, don't push it, let the sharp spinning bit do the w...

So I have a Squier Jaguar special laying around that I've been leeching parts from over the last year and decided to snag the neck and swap it out on the Mustang. It was a tight fit, I had to lightly sand the neck pocket to get it to fit. I also swapped the saddles with some that i found on eBay fo...

I got the electronics all squared away in mine. I couldn't do the push/pull tone pot though because the cavity wasn't deep enough for it. I still got some time to wait on the guard though so it's still the white one. Put some different knobs on it as well. CTS Push/Pull pots are usually about a fai...

I got mine today.... THE GOOD: Fretwork is actually decent. Edges are nice and smooth, totally stoked on that. The rosewood looks pretty good also after some lemon oil. Action out of the box was good. Finish (black) looks good but its kinda hard to fuck that up. THE BAD: The tuners are complete shit...
