Mike is a poster/moderator here Of this I am aware. It's how I ended up on here. A friend had him make one and I enquired about a build too. Followed my nose here. They're great pedals. I am just intrigued as to peoples use of pedals/reasons etc as I only own 4 pedals and only use 3 of them for gig...

Cool to see so many people on here have MBM pedals. I agree, totally depends on the band/music your in/doing. Do you think its better to have stomp boxes that are fairly outlandish flange, octave, etc or mainly good solid core sounds i.e. Dist., Fuzz, reverb. Again I appreciate it depends on what yo...

Minimalist/Exhibitionist?

When it comes to pedals (for you) is less more or the more the merrier? I am intrigued to get a poll from gear heads. A lot of my favourite guitarists use very little in the way of stomp boxes but at the same time there are some guitarists I love, like Kevin Shields, who have a massive rig that they...

So the seller got back to me and wants £200 for it. Am I just being TOTALLY unreasonable here? I mean my brother and my friend who also has one from the same era paid not above £50. I realise that was 10 years ago but for a second hand pedal, that isn't vintage? 90s Crybabys go for 30 quid. ...

So the exact pedal I desire just turned up on ebay. Have emailed the person to see if they are willing to go for a 'Buy It Now' option as I don't have the snipe software gubbins and am generally shit at ebay. Any advice from all you (no doubt) regular ebay-ers?

I love Flangers. My favourite types of pedals are the ones that really alter the signal. A lot. The weirder/crazier the better, if you're going to use "FX" it may as well have an 'effect'. That one sounds great.

I lit the touch paper and look what happens! Thanks for all the suggestions but as I said I was really after a cheaper option, the buddah and wilson are well over a hundred squid. This is, however, all food for thought. I shall see how much money I'm left with after I get paid this week and peruse t...

See? Now, I'd take you up on that but as you say, shipping and getting the case would probably even it back up to the price of an off-the-shelf one. Even with current exchange rates. Arse. And where the hell do you get a gutted wah case anyway? I'm so shit at this. Sorry people who know what they ar...

Bear in mind Slash's bedroom is probably the size of a normal person's house.
I have a Class 5 Marshall and love it to bits. Dunno about the appetite model though. Or the one pictured. Don't know much really just wanted to make that joke about Slash's bedroom and say I had a Class 5.

I'll go now.

That is the exact pedal Gabriel, if I could get one like that I'd be happy but they never come up on Shebay and if they do are way overpriced. I'll def. check out those Snarling Dogs ones, thanks Bill. How much would a techie charge to build the guts then if I got the case/shell?

The Crybaby is not mine, it is on short term loan from a pal hence why I am after my own. As far as building goes, getting the shell and getting the interior made seems to be the way to go. I wouldn't know the first thing about building/modding myself. I tried to change a fuse once, you probably hea...

I KNOW THAT PEDAL! Yes! Score one for me. Not a total dunce after all. If it's the pedal I'm thinking of with the triangle footplate you may have something there, never thought of that. Although I've never heard one in all honesty. A friend mentioned Schaller as being a good sound-a-like but again, ...

I have a Toadworks Leo.Jr Overdrive and I love it. Replicates an old overdriven fender amp really well, very touch sensitive and simple to get a great sound out of. I never hear of Toadworks much but I like 'em.
